Who we are

DOCOR Services is a commercial cleaning business operating in Greater Sydney and Brisbane Metro. This policy explains what personal information we collect through our website and messaging channels, why we collect it, and how we handle it.

What we collect

We collect personal information you choose to give us:

  • Proposal requests — your name, contact details, business details and information about the spaces you'd like cleaned.
  • Job applications — your name and contact details, where you live and where you can work, your availability, your cleaning experience and a few questions about working in Australia. There's a full breakdown in If you apply for a job with us below.
  • WhatsApp messages — the content of messages you send us and the phone number you send them from.

We don't ask for more than we need. These forms never ask for identity documents, visa or passport numbers, dates of birth, bank or tax details, health information, or details of anyone's criminal history.

Why we collect it

  • To prepare and follow up on cleaning quotes and proposals.
  • To respond to your questions and messages.
  • To assess job applications and contact applicants.
  • To deliver and manage cleaning services once engaged.

We do not use your information for unrelated marketing without your consent.

How we store it

Your information is stored in our business systems with access limited to the DOCOR team members who need it to do their work. We keep information only as long as it's needed for the purposes above, or as required by law.

Who we share it with

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with service providers that help us run our business (for example, hosting and messaging providers), and only to the extent needed to provide our services.

If you apply for a job with us

The application form on Join Our Team asks for more than our other forms do, so here is exactly what happens to it.

You can also start an application by messaging us on WhatsApp. It asks for less, and it asks the same permission question the form's tick box asks. Either way the answers land in the same place and this section covers both. If you say no to that question on WhatsApp, nothing is kept.

What we ask for

Your name, phone number and email; the city and suburb you live in and the areas you can travel to; whether you have a driver's licence and a vehicle; the days and times you can work, roughly how many hours you want and the date you can start; your cleaning experience, including any commercial, office, salon or clinic work; your level of English; whether you have the right to work in Australia; whether you have a police check or would be willing to get one; and whether you're comfortable working on your own at a site.

What we don't ask for

We ask whether you have a police check — never what it says, and never about your criminal history. We don't ask for your visa or passport number, date of birth, bank details or tax file number. If we offer you work, we'll ask for employment paperwork separately and explain what each document is for at that point.

Why we ask for it

  • Your suburb and the areas you can work tell us which sites are a realistic commute for you.
  • Your days, times, hours and start date tell us which shifts we can actually offer you.
  • Licence and vehicle tell us whether a site with no practical public transport is workable for you.
  • Experience, English level and working independently help us match you to the right kind of site — offices, salons and clinics have different requirements.
  • Work rights and police check status tell us what has to be in place before you could start.

Who sees it

Your application goes into a private area of our internal dashboard. Only DOCOR staff with a dashboard login can open it — today that is the owner and a small internal team. We don't publish applications, sell them, or pass them to other employers or recruitment agencies.

Where it's kept

Applications are stored in our database, which is hosted in Sydney, Australia. The confirmation email we send you goes through a third-party email provider, so the message itself may be handled on servers outside Australia.

How long we keep it

The form asks you to confirm that we can keep your details and contact you about future opportunities. If you agree, we keep your application on file so we can come back to you when work comes up near you — including after we've filled the role you first applied for. To be straightforward about it: we don't currently delete applications automatically after a set period. If you want yours removed, email us and we'll delete it.

Seeing it, fixing it or deleting it

Email hello@docorservices.com.au from the address you applied with, or tell us the name and phone number you used. You can ask for a copy of what we hold, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it — you don't have to give a reason, and it won't count against any future application. Deleting your application removes you from the list we search when work comes up.

Australian Privacy Principles

We aim to handle personal information in line with the Australian Privacy Principles under the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth).

Access, correction and deletion

You can ask us at any time to access, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you. Contact us at hello@docorservices.com.au and we'll respond as soon as we reasonably can.

Questions

If you have any questions or concerns about how we handle your information, email hello@docorservices.com.au.
